The short answer

Yes — allies can Rally a downed Operator, and Trick can revive himself.

In full

What that means when you are planning

Rallying costs the rallying Operator an action and puts them next to whatever downed their squadmate, which is the reason it is not a free undo.

Trick's fixed Talent, For My Brothers, is the exception: he withstands being Downed and revives himself on the next turn with no ally spending anything. It is the only self-rescue recorded, and it is the argument for putting him in the position that is most likely to get someone downed.

A Medic also heals and revives, and carries a permanent med pack that occupies no Utility slot.

What we don't know yet

The game has not been released. These are open questions we have chosen not to guess at.

  • Whether being rallied still inflicts the Injury, or prevents it.
  • Whether For My Brothers' self-revive inflicts an Injury — which decides whether it delays permadeath or only the loss of a turn.
