When Star Wars Zero Company releases
Star Wars Zero Company releases on 27 August 2026 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox. EA’s own game page carries the date, and the EA article that announced it is titled for it. No official page describes a staggered regional rollout, and no platform is named as arriving later than another.
The date has been stable since it was announced. Nothing on this site is dated to a delay, a bring-forward, or a rumour of either — and if that changes it will appear on the updates log with the source that moved it.
Star Wars Zero Company launches in
This counts to midnight UTC on release day, because that is the only instant anybody has published. It is not a claim that the game unlocks then — see below.
The honest answer
What time does Zero Company unlock?
Nobody has published a time. That is the whole answer, and it is worth explaining rather than filling in.
Three official surfaces were re-read for this on 21 August 2026: EA’s game page, EA’s pre-order page and the StarWars.com game page. All three carry the date. None of them carries an hour, a timezone, a per-platform unlock, or a preload window.
Timezone tables for this game are in circulation, and every one this site has seen reasons from how other publishers have behaved on other launches. That is a guess about EA’s habits rather than a fact about this game. Reproducing it here under a source line would be dressing an inference as evidence, which is the one thing this site is built not to do.
The gap is not academic. The two ordinary shapes an unlock takes are hours apart:
- One simultaneous global unlock, at a single instant — everyone starts together, and for most of the world that is not midnight.
- Midnight in each local timezone — Auckland plays most of a day before Los Angeles.
There is no published basis for choosing between them. When an hour is announced it will be recorded on this page with the source that stated it, and this section will stop saying no.

Platforms and storefronts
As EA publish them, which is less specific than most pages will tell you.
- Platforms
- PC, PlayStation, Xbox
- PC storefronts
- PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Xbox
- Players
- Single-player
- Genre
- Turn-based tactics
- Developer
- Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, Lucasfilm Games
- Publisher
- Electronic Arts
The console generation is the part worth being careful about. Every “PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S” you will read traces to reporting rather than to EA, whose pages say “PlayStation” and “Xbox” and stop there. That is a small distinction until you own a PS4 or an Xbox One, at which point it is the only distinction that matters — and nobody has published an answer.
Editions
What the Deluxe Edition adds, and what it costs
Contents from EA's pre-order page. No price, because EA publish none.
Deluxe Edition
- Grand Army of the Republic cosmetic pack — the source of the ARC Trooper armour set.
- Shadow Collective cosmetic pack.
- Five exclusive painted weapon themes.
Pre-order bonus
- Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack — the R3 droid, translucent crystalline heads for the R4 and R5 variants, and the BR-1 droid.
- Granted on both the Standard and the Deluxe edition.
Everything the Deluxe adds over the Standard is cosmetic, and the pre-order bonus is granted on both — so neither is a capability decision. EA’s pre-order page also names no early-access window, which is the kind of thing a pre-order page sells rather than omits. That is an absence rather than a denial, and it is recorded as one.
Questions
Release questions, answered directly
Each of these restates a record held elsewhere on the site, and cites the same sources it does.
- When does Star Wars Zero Company release?
- 27 August 2026, on PC, PlayStation and Xbox — the same day on all three.
- What time does Star Wars Zero Company unlock?
- Nobody has published a time. EA name 27 August 2026 as a date and go no further.
- Does the Deluxe Edition give early access to Zero Company?
- Not according to EA's pre-order page, which lists what the Deluxe adds and names no earlier start.
- How much does Star Wars Zero Company cost?
- EA publish no price. Every figure in circulation comes from a storefront listing or from reporting, not from EA.
What we don't know yet
The game has not been released. These are open questions we have chosen not to guess at.
- The price of any edition. EA's pre-order page names the editions and their contents without publishing a figure, and every price in circulation traces to a storefront or to reporting rather than to EA.
- The unlock time, on any platform or in any timezone. EA publish a calendar date and stop there. Every countdown-to-the-hour and every timezone table in circulation is somebody's inference from how other publishers have behaved, which is a guess about EA rather than a fact about this game.
- Whether the game preloads, and if so from when. No official page mentions a preload window on any storefront.
- Whether the Deluxe Edition carries early access. EA's pre-order page lists what it adds - two cosmetic packs and five painted weapon themes - and names no earlier start.
- The console generation. EA say "PlayStation" and "Xbox" and never name a model, so whether the game reaches the PS4 and Xbox One generation at all is unstated.
- Whether a Collector's Edition exists. It is widely reported and appears on no EA page this site has read.
- Whether the game supports mod tools, additional languages, or any post-launch content. None of the three appears on an official page.
- Storefront availability beyond Steam, the EA App and the Epic Games Store on PC.
- Any performance target on console. EA publish PC specifications and nothing equivalent for PlayStation or Xbox, so no resolution or framerate is stated for either.
- Whether the 50 GB install figure covers the day-one patch, and whether an SSD is required rather than merely assumed. EA's table names neither.
