Zero In into a Quick Draw chain
An accuracy buff poured into the one attack that pays its Action Point back on a kill.

- pre-release preview build (August 2026)
What it needs
- In the squad
- Sharpshooter — Zero In · Gunslinger — Quick Draw
- The builder checks
- One Operator holding both Specializations — a Sharpshooter/Gunslinger dual-class build.
Mechanism
Why it works
Zero In stacks Lethal on the Operator rather than on the weapon, so its chance-to-hit and critical bonuses apply to whatever that Operator fires next — including the sidearm.
Quick Draw carries its own chance-to-hit penalty and refunds its Action Point on a kill. Raising its hit rate therefore does not just add damage; it converts directly into extra actions, because a miss is the thing that breaks the chain.
The two are on different Specializations, so this needs the secondary Specialization unlocked — it is a mid-campaign pattern, not an opening one.
Cost
What it gives up
Lethal is lost the moment the Operator moves, so the chain is stationary. Zero In also costs a full Action Point before any shooting happens.
What we don't know yet
The game has not been released. These are open questions we have chosen not to guess at.
- Zero In's +40% hit and +24% critical figures are one previewer's screen reading at maximum rank.
- Whether Lethal is consumed by the first attack or persists across several while the Operator stays still.
- Whether every primary/secondary Specialization combination is legal — nothing published says it is.
