The short answer
Nobody has published a time. EA name 27 August 2026 as a date and go no further.

What that means when you are planning
Three official surfaces were re-read for this on 21 August 2026 — EA's game page, EA's pre-order page and the StarWars.com game page. All three carry the date. None carries an hour, a timezone, a per-platform unlock, or a preload window.
That matters because the hour is the part being guessed at hardest. Timezone tables for this game are in circulation, and every one this site has seen reasons from how other publishers have behaved on other launches. That is a guess about EA's habits, not a fact about this game, and reproducing it here under a source line would be dressing an inference as evidence.
The two shapes it could take are both ordinary and they are hours apart: one simultaneous global unlock, or midnight in each local timezone. Which one EA choose decides whether a reader in Auckland plays before or after a reader in Los Angeles, and there is no published basis for choosing between them.
When an hour is announced it will be recorded on /release-date with the source that stated it, and this answer will stop saying no.
What we don't know yet
The game has not been released. These are open questions we have chosen not to guess at.
- The unlock time itself, on every platform.
- Whether the unlock is simultaneous worldwide or local midnight per region.
- Whether the game preloads, and from when. No official page mentions a preload window on any storefront.
