Why it matters when you are planning a squad

The engine of the whole Advantage economy. Advantage is a shared pool, so a single scan across a droid formation does not fund the Scout — it funds whichever Operator has the expensive Ultimate. One cast against a tight group can pay for a Rocket Strike outright, which is what turns the game's biggest abilities from occasional to repeatable. The reveal matters less than it sounds: there is no fog of war, so it only finds genuinely hidden units.
