The short answer

Ten have been seen: the six open to Hawks, plus Neimoidian, Ovissian, Weequay and Rodian.

In full

What that means when you are planning

EA name six in their own text — Devaronian, Human, Mirialan, Togruta, Twi'lek and Zabrak — and three more as Custom-Operator-only: Neimoidian, Ovissian and Weequay. A previewer working through the creator saw Rodian as well, and two other previewers played or lost a Rodian squadmate, so it is real. That makes ten.

Clones appear in the creator as a selectable type of their own, unlocking later in the story.

Each species has its own options — horn variants, lekku styles and markings, antennae, face markings, skin palettes. Weequay have the fewest.

Ten is a floor rather than a confirmed total. EA introduce their six with "such as", and the creator was only ever shown at the start of a campaign.

What we don't know yet

The game has not been released. These are open questions we have chosen not to guess at.

  • Whether ten is the full list.
  • Whether "Clone" is a species in the game's own terms or a separate track.
  • Whether more species unlock later in the campaign.
