What this Talent is actually for
The same trade as Thievery, against a currency that is scarcer early. Intel is what commits an Operator to an Operation, and Operations expire on the campaign clock — so the binding constraint in the opening cycles is usually Intel rather than Credits, which makes this the better of the two rewards to take first. The trade reverses as the campaign goes on and combat gets harder.
Pairings
Specializations it combines with
A Talent is chosen separately from a class, so these are combinations you assemble yourself rather than anything the game groups for you.
This Talent pairs with no Specialization in particular. It buys an out-of-combat reward rather than fighting power, so the question it raises is whether the slot is worth the income — not which class to put it on.
What we don't know yet
The game has not been released. These are open questions we have chosen not to guess at.
- The Intel value at the middle rank.
- Whether it stacks across two Operators, as Thievery explicitly does not.
- How much Intel a typical Operation costs, which is what decides the payoff.
